Requires an adjustment to your analogy. If Cuba were coordinating the actions of local proxies attacking us for decades, and if we’d destroyed their command and control of those proxies, and if Cuba responded by telling us when they were going to attack, then launching an impressive looking attack which was entirely intercepted and no damage done, I think we’d consider that choreographed and, basically, take the win.

It is not in either Israel’s or Iran’s interests that they wind up in a full scale war. Israel’s hands are full. Iran gave them a bit of a gift by softening some of the international condemnation against Israel. This is a clear win for Israel, and if Iran does stand down now as it’s signaled, it should take it imo.

It might also remove some dem opposition to aid to Israel along with Ukraine and Taiwan due to the Gaza carnage.
